VINCENT LINGGA 

Started his journalist career at  the National News Agency Antara in Jakarta in April, 1967.  He joined The Jakarta Post, a newly-published English daily newspaper, in April, 1983.

He started as chief of the economic and business news desk and was appointed a managing editor in charge of economic news in 1989, a position he held until mid-2001, when he was named a senior editor assigned to the opinion pages mainly in charge of writing editorials on economic and business issues.
